Who we are

We are a boutique grower who is committed to providing the community with fresh fruit, cut flowers, and edible plants that have been grown in a chemical-free, environmentally responsible manner.

What we do

We cultivate a love of gardening & ensure that the community has access to nutritious, sustainably grown produce & plants. We employ regenerative agriculture techniques that aim to revitalize the land and our community.

Why we do it

We are deeply committed to the idea of promoting horticultural beauty while simultaneously reviving local food economies. To us, the most critical step toward resolving the environmental & produce quality issues of our day is to alter our current food production and distribution practices.

That is why we put such a heavy emphasis on regenerative agricultural techniques, & advocate for horticultural influence to be integrated throughout our community. Local food supports local economies, & we highly value that relationship.

Where We Are Located

We steward 10.36 acres of Agricultural Reserve farmland in Damascus, MD, that we are converting to a naturally grown fruit, cut flower, and edible plant stock production farm for the community at large.

We are located off Moxley Rd., at +-750ft (AMSL) on a southern-facing incline in the northern tip of Montgomery County, MD, near a town called "Claggettsville," which is located at the junction of Ridge Road (MD Rt. 27) and Kemptown Road (MD Rt. 80).

Future plans

We have visions of creating an agritourism destination that provides an opportunity for the public to admire & expand their horticultural horizons, while purchasing local, nutrient dense produce & plants. Our goals with branching into agritourism are to provide the community with an accessible location to promote the following:

  • Benefits of buying local food & respect for the food system.

  • Reduced Packaging & Reduced Food Mileage

  • Educational Horticulture/Agricultural Resources

  • This includes an agricultural resource library filled w/ books, resources, etc.

    • Training Seminar/Workshops, etc.

  • Youth Programs / Kids Corner (Reprieve for busy 9-5 parents)

    • This includes the following experiences:

      • Sensory Garden

      • Children’s Outdoor Education Facility (Landscapes for Learning)

  • Seasonal Events promoting local food & the slow flower movement.

  • Craft Cidery/Perry Production (Longshot Goal)

  • Indian Runner Duck + Dutch Hookbill Husbandry (Longshot Goal)
